They might have different career paths in the early years of their careers, but fate had a way of intertwining the lives of actress and TV personality Anne Curtis and stand-up comedian Vice Ganda more than a decade ago – through It’s Showtime. From being strangers, they went on to become the most well-loved hosts and real-life besties, who consider each other as “sisterettes."

However, despite being “sisters” in the past 14 years, it seems that Vice still "couldn’t stand" the singing voice of Anne as the Unkabogable Star jestingly reacts harshly whenever she tries to sing. Just like the hilarious gigil momentes of Vice towards Anne’s singing in the past years that we collated in this Kapamilya Update feature!

Starting off to that moment when Anne joined their co-host Jhong Hilario in singing the Ed Sheeran hit “Perfect” after the Unkabogable Host mentioned that it’s one of her favorite songs. That instantly "irritated" the latter and remarked, “Ang pangit pala niyan, ano? Akala ko maganda ‘yan?” Vice then went on to add, “Ito talaga, kapag may pinag-uusapang kanta bigla siyang sisingit [tapos] kakantahin niya ‘yong kanta.”

She did it in another episode, as Vice told the Tawag ng Tanghalan contestant that she loves the Richard Marx song “Right Here Waiting." "Annoyed," Vice went to their co-host Ryan Bang, who was that day’s “Gong-bassador” to ask him to relay to Anne how "displeased" she was. According to Anne, it is also her favorite, so she couldn’t help herself from singing it.

In an old episode of TNT wherein Vice requested then-contestant Eumee Capile to sing “Kahit Isang Saglit” for her grandma, Anne suddenly began singing, which made Vice gigil na gigil over her. Vice tried to take the microphone away from her to stop her from singing, telling her to just give the moment to Eumee.

Vice then went on to call Anne a “langaw” as she suddenly sang along with her while she was sweetly singing Odette Quesada’s “Friend of Mine." That got her really distracted, so she warned that she’s going to hit that "singing fly" with a rolled newspaper.

Anne once again got Vice distracted and "irritated" when she joined her in singing another song. Vice stopped and said that she reminded her of that “isang kaibigan na tayo ‘yong makakaisip ng kanta, sisimulan natin, tapos bababuyin niya‘yong favorite part mo, na wala kang ibang magagawa kundi mainis na lang.”

Then she continued, “’Yong parang magka-karaoke kayo. Ikaw maghahanap doon sa listahan, ikaw magpipindot doon, kapag tumugtog kukunin mo ‘yong mic, tapos sasabayan ka.” Anne reasoned out that she knows and likes the favorite songs of Vice, as well, so she couldn’t help herself from singing along.

And lastly, just when we thought that Vice really enjoyed singing samples of Janet Jackson songs “Together Again” and “I’ll Never Fall In Love With You Again” with Anne since they both obviously got thrilled while interviewing a Miss Q & A contestant.

For more amusing moments between sisterettes Anne and Vice, never miss an episode of It’s Showtime, Mondays to Saturdays at 12 noon, on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z, iWantTFC, and TV5.
