We’ve reached the fourth day of the Magpasikat 2024 showdown, and Thursday, exactly "It’s Showtime"'s 15th birthday, was nothing short of a celebration! Party mode was officially on as Team Anne Curtis, Jugs Jugueta, and Teddy Corpuz delivered a festive, feel-good performance that had everyone cheering. With a fun concert-like vibe and a touching tribute to the core memories of the show’s history, their act was all about bringing joy and nostalgia to the audience.
Now, let’s take a look behind the scenes at the moments leading up to and during this epic performance, via these exclusive videos.
In the rehearsal clip, we see Anne, Jugs, and Teddy kicked off the big day with a prayer. But the last practice itself was an entirely different beast. It truly takes a village to pull off such a grand production, and leading that village was none other than John Prats! Yes, he took charge of directing this spectacle.
Excitement was buzzing leading up to the show’s airing. Former “It’s Showtime” mainstays—GirlTrends Mica Javier at Krissha Viaje, with Bidaman members Eris Aragoza, Wize Estabillo, andKristof Garcia, as well as Hashtags Paulo Angeles, Wilbert Ross, Charles Kieron, and Jameson Blake— joined the fun by jamming with the “It’s Showtime” hosts during the opening number.
Of course, what’s “It’s Showtime” without the unwavering support of the ABS-CBN bosses, especially Cory Vidanes, who was also there to cheer on the team.
And as the show kicked off, it wasn’t just the audience who were hyped. The other “It’s Showtime” hosts were feeling the excitement too, as they’re seen holding neon light balls that doubled as stage props.
The crowd and hosts couldn’t contain their cheers as Jugs and Teddy entered their ‘dancerist’ era, rocking moves that added a surprising twist to their act. But the atmosphere shifted into rakrakan mode as the duo electrified the stage with their guitars.
The party hit a new level when BINI appeared and collaborated with Anne—imagine two powerhouse acts igniting the stage together! As the show wrapped up, everyone, from the team to their guests and a sea of backup dancers, joined in to perform a feel-good song specially written by Jugs and Teddy just for this presentation. It was a true celebration—definitely a core memory!
