From making us laugh with his hilarious shenanigans and banters with his co-hosts in It’s Showtime, Vice Ganda continues to fulfill his mission of making the madlang people through the vlogs that he and his team uploads on his eponymous official YouTube channel.
And in his latest vlogs, he truly entertained us with his “CHOPPY CHOPPIHAN PRANK CALL” that he did to a few of the closest people in his life. Instead of doing the usual prank calling, wherein the caller would tell the person on the other end of the line a false story until he/she falls for it, the Unkabogable Star pretended that he and the person he’s talking to were having intermittent internet connection by slurring his speech. Besides, he did it via video call instead of the usual phone call in order for everyone to see their reactions.
In the Part 1 of his prank call published last March 27, his first victims were his anak-anakan and It’s Showtime co-host Ryan Bang and renowned fashion designer-friend Paul Cabral. And in the Part 2, he did his best to prank his friends Karla Estrada, Ronnie Alonte, Liz Uy, and Joshua Garcia.
Even though they have known each other for a long time, not to mention that they are best friends, the Magandang Buhay host still fell victim. He told her that ABS-CBN Chief Operating Officer for Broadcast Cory Vidanes made an announcement regarding her show, which Momshie Karla refused to believe since they already have schedules of taping in the coming days.
Next was ex-Hashtags member Ronnie Alonte, who immediately knew that he was only bluffing as Vice relayed to him the supposed conversation he had with other Hashtags Paulo Angeles, Jimboy Martin, Zeus Collins, and Wilbert Ross.
Celebrity stylist Liz Uy was next, who got fooled by her friend that her mobile signal was erratic, so she had to go out of her room to find a good spot in order to hear Vice’s chika about their friend Anne Curtis. Realizing that it was just a prank, she relentlessly cursed him that erupted to their boisterous
Last for this episode was Joshua Garcia, to whom he shared the purchase he recently made at their friend Daniel Padilla’s clothing line and the person he invited to play badminton. Noticing the ring light at Vice’s side, he already got a hint that it’s for his vlog. After several tries, Vice gave in and revealed that it’s indeed only a prank.
In the end, they’re able to figure out that it’s just a prank and Vice was only making fun of them. Instead of being miffed with Vice, all of them were good sports as they just laughed it off. Click on the video to see everything that happened in this fun “CHOPPY CHOPPIHAN PRANK CALL”.
