Kim Chiu’s memorable, funny moments as the newest host of It’s Showtime

After her innumerable stints as a guest co-host or performer over the past decade, Kim Chiu was officially announced as the newest member of the It’s Showtime family last September 28, who will help them further in fulfilling their ultimate mission of spreading good vibes and laughter to the madlang people every noontime.

Since she’s just new, her co-hosts made sure to give her their warmest welcome by giving her the spotlight on her inauguration as she amused us with a song and dance number and giving their hearty and witty messages to them.

“Thank you for welcoming me and for allowing me to be part of the program. I’m really happy that I will get to spend every day and have fun with the madlang people. Thank you very much. Kapamilya Forever!” the Chinita Princess uttered while holding back her tears.

And since she’s been on It’s Showtime for more than a month now, let’s take a look back on some of her most memorable and most humorous moments on the show through this Kapamilya Toplist!

Ever since her Day 1, she has proven that she’s indeed a perfect fit for the program as she never failed to make us laugh with her funny reactions, stories, and banters with the host and hilarious interactions with the guests and contestants in every segment, as well as with her undeniably contagious chuckle and high energy.

Kim also does with sheer enthusiasm the things that she’s asked to do either by her co-hosts or the staff, just like the surprising and droll FUNishments she did in the “Mas Testing” segment as the “Tumpak Tracer” of the day. Who would forget that moment when she accepted the challenge of liking five Instagram posts of her former on-and-off-screen partner Gerald Anderson?

However, in spite of the embarrassing and hilarious things she went through on the show, those didn’t diminish her love for her newest family as she even got emotional when It’s Showtime, along with other Kapamilya programs, finally found their way back to free TV through A2Z Channel 11.

Besides, she also took on the grueling yet fulfilling challenge of the Magpasikat week as she marked her debut on the annual festive tradition by being paired with the Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda for an emotional and inspiring performance for the noontime program’s 11th year anniversary.

We’re looking forward on seeing the good vibes and happiness that Kim Chiu is going to bring to the madlang people in the coming days! Make sure to not miss an episode of It’s Showtime, Mondays to Saturdays on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, and A2Z Channel 11!
