Their show is the reason countless Filipino laugh and forget about their worries every afternoon. From the hosts’ banter with each other to the contestants’ quirky personalities, everyone is in on the fun. So, here to represent the It’s Showtime family for the 2018 ABS-CBN Ball are some of the hosts, hurados and even former contestants!
The Kilig Ambassadors already make us feel giddy on a daily basis. Now, seeing the Hashtags’ suits is giving us more reason to love them. Like a true boy group, they all came wearing their personal styles! Zeus Collins was wearing a green ensemble. From head to toe, Kid Yambao was in a silver suit that had geometric patterns. Vitto Marquez had emoji patches scattered on his suit jacket. Jimboy Martin donned a dark gray suit and made it more relaxed by leaving the collar open. Jameson made his look more fun with a gray suit jacket and a shawl lapel. Ryle opted for a brown number paired with a red shirt underneath.
Other Hashtag members who walked separately include CK (Charles Kieron), who’s with actress Vivoree Esclito, wore a black suit that had maroon vest. McCoy de Leon was simply dashing next to Elisse Joson. And Ronnie Alonte, next to Loisa Andalio, proved why he is the Kilig King.
Some members of GirlTrends were also in attendance. Chienna Filomeno, who took home the title Next Generation Star, was in a beautiful dress that made her look like a fairy. Meanwhile, Mica Javier, who walked with her boyfriend the R&B Prince Jay R, was in a stunning green piece that must have broken records for longest slit.
Madlang people’s favorite Tawag Ng Tanghalan hurados did not miss the festivities. Karla Estrada seemed to be wearing the night sky in a gown that complimented her figure. Gary Valenciano, Ogie Alcasid, Nyoy Volante and Erik Santos were all dapper in their classic suits. And the Queen of Soul Jaya made the night memorable in a black number that had a tinge of blue.
Of course, if the hurados were present, then so were TNT Season 1 and Season 2 finalists! Ato Arman and Reggie Tortugo looked sophisticated in their classic get-ups. As expected, Arabelle Dela Cruz was lovely in her black gown that had an intricate silver neckline. While Season 2 Grand Champion Janine Berdin rocked a black number that gave the illusion of shooting stars.
Over to the Miss Q & A pageant, Juliana Parizcova, Matmat Centino and Lars Pacheco all showed up looking like true beauty queens in their black ensembles. On the other hand, one of their hurados, Nicole Cordoves dazzled us all as she made it rain in gold.
How can we miss the hosts that work tirelessly to provide entertainment from Mondays to Saturdays? Vhong Navarro was decked in a simple black suit but partnered it with gray streaked hair and red tinted specs. Amy Perez was also in a simple black dress but made the get-up younger and funkier with shaved sides. Mariel Rodriguez was a goddess in red next to her husband Robin Padilla. Anne Curtis, who was one of the nights best dressed, had a princess moment in her black gown that had layers on layers.
Finally, the two people who almost broke cameras as photographers rushed to take as many pictures as they could, Ryan Bang and Vice Ganda. Ryan was in a classic elegant black suit that had a red pocket square for a pop of color. The Unkabogable Superstar, meanwhile, decided to bring the Met Gala to the ABS-CBN Ball. From the trail that mirrored stained glass windows to the thorn crown, everyone must have been speechless upon seeing him.
Vice’s look is something that has to be seen to be believe. So, check out this gallery and see for yourself! If only they could all look like this on the It’s Showtime stage.
