Aside from her exquisite #OOTDs and awesome tales about her life that never fail to rack up thousands of double taps from her loyal followers, we also can’t get enough of the snaps of her furbabies that consistently spread cuteness and good vibes on Instagram.
Unlike others who treat their animals as mere pets, Anne Curtis considers them her children and even affixes her surname “Curtis-Smith” on their names everytime she posts about them. Presumably, there are seven different babies under her care right now – four dogs, two cats, and one bird.
The It’s Showtime host has a 14-year-old Yorkshire Terrier named Princess, a French Bulldog they fondly call as Pancho Ze Frenchie, and two Pomeranians Grizzly and Tofu. She used to have tea cup Chihuahua named “Bella”, but it unfortunately died in 2016.
Her first kitty is Mogwai, an Exotic Shorthair, which according to her took them a year to find since she wanted someone similar with the cat she was obsessed with on IG. And just last year, they decided to give it a “girlfriend” and “longtime-partner” by getting another Exotic Shorthair named Pixie.
What’s odder than having one cat and several dogs in one household? Taking care of a little bird like Birdy. The 33-year-old actress imparted on one her vlogposts on YouTube in 2014 that the yellow canary was a gift from her former noontime show co-host Kim Atienza.
On that same video, she also expressed how much she admires being a fur-parent to her adorable and irresistibly cute furbabies.
“It's great to have animals in the house because even when you're coming home from a long day of work, you have a little family to come home to that just look at you with loving eyes,” Anne enthusiastically uttered.
Then she expounded, “I don't think a human being could ever explain or could ever get how much your animal really loves you, especially your dogs or even your cats. People don't think that cats love you, but I will tell you, they're so malambing.”
