It’s that time of the year again when our favorite Kapamilyas would dress up with their fancy and intricate Halloween costumes! This time, the hosts of It’s Showtime were dressed up like the characters from our favorite films - from fantasy films to K Drama series!
Anne Curtis represented well the fictional character from the 2016 hit American superhero film Suicide Squad! Curtis stunned the fans as she wore Harley Quinn’s signature getup, which includes her red and white tee with quarter length sleeves with a “Daddy’s Lil Monster” quote on it, blue and red colored shorts, boots, and the iconic baseball bat. The female host also went all out when she was styled with two ponytails with pink and blue colored ends, as how Harley Quinn had her hair in the film!
Vhong Navarro, on the other hand, was unrecognizable when he appeared as Sweeney Todd, who was originally portrayed by Johnny Depp. Navarro donned his long sleeved shirt with an ascot, as well as his vest. The bottoms included black pants partnered with his black shoes. His makeup artist/s paid closer attention to detail as Navarro was put on with white foundation and even prosthetics for his nose. Of course, he wouldn’t miss wearing the Sweeney Todd wig!
Meanwhile, Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla took to Instagram to express how happy she was with her first Halloween on It’s Showtime. Padilla wore an iconic witch hat and had a green face paint on her face and prosthetics, a black witch dress, and a long broom. All these referenced Elphaba, the fictional character in the Broadway musical “Wicked.”
Teddy Corpuz alongside Jugs Jugueta dressed up as Hector and Miguel respectively, bringing us back to the top grossing 2017 fantasy film Coco which, for sure, made us all, well, cry. Teddy, looked absolutely like a slender male skeleton, just like how Hector appeared in the film. Jugs, dressed as Miguel, wore a basic white shirt with a red jacket on top partnered with maong pants.
Last but not the least, hosts Karylle and Ryan Bang partnered up to channel their inner Mariel Kim and Ivan Lee, respectively from the Asianovela What's Wrong with Secretary Kim. Ryan might have probably found it easy to unleash his inner oppa side because his getup looked so natural with him. Karylle, on the other side, looked even more beautiful and charming just like Park Min-young who originally played the role of Mariel in the K Drama.
