“I chose not to laugh yesterday,” said Vice Ganda during today’s live telecast of It’s Showtime
, May 30. The comedian then explained to everyone why he was absent from the show yesterday.

“It’s okay to cry once in a while kasi pag hindi mo ilalabas yan, yung lunkgot nagiging galit, yung galit nagiging muhi, at sa pagkakataong yun, dun ka magbubunga ng magiging kasalanan, di ba. Pero ngayon masaya tayo, may dahilan pa rin naman para maging masaya,” said the host-comedian.
Trying to hold back tears, Vice also thanked his ‘Showtime’ friends for their efforts to cheer him up. The hosts gave Vice a group hug.
Recently, the Gandang Gabi Vice
