This Holy Wednesday, April 16, It’s Showtime presented the life story of That’s My Tomboy grand finalist, Christine “Chuckz” Ledbetter. She was portrayed by actress and Showtime host Coleen Garcia.
According to Coleen, portraying a lesbian became a challenge for her, “Kailangan talaga aralin tapos maraming nagsasabi sakin na mag-observe ka, maghanap ka ng peg mo. It was really a challenge.”
Meanwhile, Chuckz said that she felt overwhelmed with her life story airing on national television, “Nakaka-overwhelm. She also said that growing up alone, she only turned to God.
Later, Showtime presented Chuckz with a full scholarship to any four-year course from Erase Solution. She also received franchises of Happy Donuts from Ysa Botanica and Buko Republic from E-Concept Business.
Keep on watching, It’s Showtime, weekdays at 12:30 PM and on Saturdays at 12 NN on ABS-CBN.
