It’s Showtime has been our all-time favorite noontime show on Philippine television because it gives us numerous reasons to love them. It has the most lovable hosts who are all so beautiful inside and out. They make the wittiest banters on screen, commence the most unique and funniest games that are super enjoyable to watch, and let us witness the most touching moments live on screen. Most of all, the show makes the highest stars reachable as they invite the biggest names in the world!
Let us look back on the five international acts who graced the It’s Showtime stage with their presence this 2018.
On top of our list is the South Korean girl group Momoland that has taken the K-Pop scene by storm. Momoland made Christmas early for the Madlang People this December, as they performed their hit song “Bboom Bboom” which got everyone so energized. After their performance, they greeted their Filipino fans and shared some of the loveliest experiences they had with their visits here in our country.
2. Boyce Avenue
Next is the American pop and rock band Boyce Avenue, which is composed of brothers Alejandro Manzano, Fabian Manzano and Daniel Manzano. Together, the three men serenaded the Madlang People with their rendition of the song “Wonderwall” originally performed by the English rock band Oasis.
3. David Archuleta
Before Momoland came, American singer/songwriter and actor David Archuleta also gave his early Christmas greetings to the Madlang People in November. David performed his single titled “Christmas Every Day” from his new album titled ‘Winter In The Air’, along with the It’s Showtime dancers and XB Gensan.
4. Rex Smith
American singer and actor Rex Smith also entertained the Madlang People in March this year. Rex Smith’s acting debut was in the Broadway production of Grease, and his first single was the timeless classic “You Take My Breath Away”. In his visit, he made the Madlang People extra happy by taking the “Taga-Saan Ka” challenge.
5. Debbie Gibson and Tiffany
Belles of the 80’s Debbie Gibson and Tiffany gave the Madlang People a blast from the past by singing some of their most iconic songs. Debbie performed her unforgettable hit “Foolish Beat,” while Tiffany performed her chart-topping cover of “I Think We’re Alone Now”, which was originally recorded by the American rock band Tommy James and the Shondells.
