She loves to sing and that is all that matters.
After her month-long trip to Africa with hubby Erwan Heussaff, Anne Curtis is back on It’s Showtime and quickly reminded us why we absolutely love her. Aside from the everyday banter with her co-hosts, she also gave a passionate Celine Dion opening production this week. Singing “My Heart Will Go On” and “The Power of Love,” she wowed the madlang people with her vocal prowess. It was like watching one of her concerts at the Big Dome.
This, however, was not her first jaw dropping performance on the variety show’s stage. Anne has been ambitiously reaching one high note after another much to the madlang people’s delight.
Back in 2015, Anne had to sing Sia’s “Chandelier” and her sore throat did not stop her. “I hope you guys understand kung boses palaka ako ngayong araw na ito,” she explained before her starting. Yet the husky voice only made this performance more memorable. Not to mention she was playing the piano for real.
That same year she gave Kapamilyas her rendition of the iconic “Halik” by Aegis which just spoke to all the heartbroken souls on another level. And because confidence truly goes a long way, she went from local to international biriteras when she channeled her inner Whitney Houston and Beyonce. Stepping up her game, she has also taken on the opera! We know that if she was a contestant on Tawag Ng Tanghalan, the hurados would probably gong her. Still, the madlang people would see her sing any day.
Her singing has been the source of many jokes through the years, but anytime she is giving one of her signature performances, no one is laughing. Check out this compilation of some of her best on It’s Showtime!
