Life has been good for Juliana Parizcova Segovia, the first Miss Q & A grand winner, who is set to pass on his crown to the new titleholder this year.
And while he may have not fulfilled a treasured goal ever since he started his journey in the popular on-air pageant, Juliana is truly blissful with how things have turned out for him.
“Simula no’ng nanalo ako as Miss Q&A Grand Winner at nakuha ko na ‘yung korona, ang daming nangyaring maganda,” Juliana tells ABS-CBN.com Entertainment in an exclusive interview.

Juliana, who joined many gay pageants while working as a call center agent, notes having many dreams fulfilled being part of an industry he’d deeply longed for. Pangarap ‘yon na maituturing,” he said.
Juliana, whose real name is Tyrone James Ortega, said that he never thought he would win such a prominent and prestigious TV pageant, given that he was a mere Mass Communications student aspiring to become a broadcaster someday. He got her screenname from the sultry and ravishing actress Juliana Palermo and one of the most beautiful fashion models in history, Paulina Porizcova. Segovia comes from her “kontesera” family.
Since winning the Miss Q&A crown, Juliana has been part of It’s Showtime Online Universe, hosting his own online show “And I Thank You,” and other appearances on the noontime show’s digital platform. Moreover, Juliana has also been a regular on a string of TV shows.

Juliana had also been a hurado for this current InterTALAKtic Miss Q&A season.
But his most cherished break was when her “Ate” Vice Ganda included her in the cast of his 2017 MMFF fantasy blockbuster “Gandarrapiddo: The Revenger Squad.”
And this he took to heart, even while his cherished dream may not yet gone into fruition, Juliana is satisfied with what they currently have. On interviews after winning the first season of Miss Q&A in June last year, Juliana stressed that her victory would give him a chance to fulfill his mommy Cynthia’s dream of owning their own house.
“Dati kami nakikitira sa kamag-anak. I must say na hindi ko man pa naibibigay sa mama ko ‘yung bahay na amin talaga, the good thing about this is bumukod na kami,” Juliana stressed.
What’s important for Juliana is that, above anything, he and his family are happy.
So anong gagawin mo kung ang dami-dami mong pera pero hindi ka masaya,” he noted.
For Juliana, achieving this kind of happiness is simple.
“So mas maganda pong may pumapasok pa ring trabaho, may income, pero importante na-mamaximize mo ‘yung bawa’t araw na kasama mo ang mga taong gusto mong makasama.”
