“First time na ako ‘yung nang-aapi,” she described her role on this week’s Ipaglaban Mo episode “Disiplina”. The actress will be a teacher facing the consequences of a mistake she unintentionally made. It is a unique experience that taught her to always understand someone or the situation fully before acting impulsively.
This project is only the latest addition to Miles Ocampo’s career which spans over a decade. It will prove how much she has grown since joining the industry as a child star. Despite spending most of her life in front of the camera, there is still a lot about her that even the biggest fans do not know yet.
Her role models in show business are Sarah Geronimo and Toni Gonzaga. Love for the family and respect for the craft are only two of her reasons for admiring them. Miles enjoys surrounding herself with people she can learn from which is why her circle of friends consists mostly of people who are older than her. But her best friend will always be Sharlene San Pedro, “May trabaho o wala, si beshie ang isa sa mga nakakausap ko.”
She is happy to see Marco Gumabao succeed. They previously teamed up for the teen comedy series Luv U. Although she is not sure if they can be paired again. “Parang ‘di na ko bagay kay Marco. Hubadera na si Marco,” she joked. Instead, she hopes Sam Milby can be her leading man someday.
If you want to hear some “kwentong bulilit” from the Goin Bulilit alumni, you can visit her YouTube channel. “Ang laki ng playground namin, ABS-CBN,” she recalled. Her most memorable role, however, Pepay from Mga Anghel na Walang Langit. Apparently, the teleserye was supposed to run for only two weeks. But because of the warm response, they were on air for 10 months.
Before all of these confessions, she also spilled the beans on some of your favorite Kapamilya stars! Miles Ocampo talked about Toni Gonzaga’s compassion, her friendship with Piolo Pascual, Luis Manzano’s protectiveness, and more on Kathryn Bernardo, Sharlene San Pedro as well as Alex Gonzaga!
