During his Kapamilya Chat with Sid Lucero, Royce Cabrera shares his own list of cool interests as well, from gaming to shoes. He has a few pairs on display, although, he doesn’t want to brand himself as a legit enthusiast, saying he simply doesn’t want to run out of footwear when attending events. Royce would rather call himself a practical and disciplined collector giving more value to essentials than unnecessary expenses. Yup, he double checks the price tag!

Most of his shoes were given as gifts including his most favorite pair from his girlfriend. He says the astig kicks can go with any outfit. The most expensive among the group is a pair of boots that he often wears during special events like press conferences. Just like Sid, Royce also dreams of becoming a big-time hobbyist someday.   

With a talent and tenacity as strong as Royce’s, dreams are indeed possible to achieve. A quick travel down memory lane, Royce shares that he started out in theater until he landed cameo roles in television and slowly made it further. Considered his biggest pass to mainstream media was the indie film “Fuccbois” which he topbilled alongside Kokoy de Santos. 

Royce is overjoyed with his assignments. A Soldier's Heart, his series with Gerald Anderson and other household names in showbiz, is such a big feat for him. But, he doesn’t take things lightly. He knows he has still so much to prove and he is driven to always give his best.

As a newbie, he always looks forward to learning on the set and working with seasoned actors. Sid Lucero, his co-star in Ipaglaban Mo "Totoong Magulang, can see a lot of potential in Royce, hence, he doesn’t want to sound like a true veteran giving pieces of wisdom. He has one important reminder, though, “The moment you find out you’re good is when you stop learning.”
