Grae Fernandez, son of actor Mark Anthony Fernandez, has been making a name for himself since his television debut in Minute to Win It: Junior Edition
last 2013. Since then, he has already been cast in two major primetime teleseryes, “Bridges of Love”
and “Pangako Sa ‘Yo.”
Now, Grae is set to star in his first Ipaglaban Mo episode entitled “Kabataan
” alongside Francis Magundayao.
The young actor opened up on Kapamilya Chat regarding his role and the lessons he has learned in this episode. He revealed that his character, Andrew, is an honor student and a loving son who gets entangled with a frat leader in school after he saves him from a fight. When asked about his nerdy role, Grae shared that he was able to relate with Andrew because he is also rather laid-back in person and doesn’t speak much. He also divulged that although he has in fact met a few “maangas”
boys before in school, he’s never had any experience with fraternities in real life yet. But because of this Ipaglaban Mo episode, Grae said that he learned that everyone, especially the youth, should choose their friends well. We need to get to know the person really good before we get close. Teenagers may even ask for their parents’ advice on whether someone could be a good or a bad influence as a friend.
