Init Sa Magdamag may have been on-air for two weeks, but it has already succeeded in capturing our hearts and scorching our primetime viewing through its delightfully intense and stirring scenes that never fail to make us feel different emotions while watching.
However, just like any other productions, the happenings behind the scenes are absolutely far from what we witness on the screen. The intense and sweltering confrontations and the heart-rending dramatic encounters are absolutely gone because they are all immediately replaced by the loud laughter, wide and bright smiles, funny shenanigans, and sweet bonding moments of the cast and crew.
And as we anticipate the upcoming exciting scenes, let’s take a peek on the fun and kilig goings-on behind the scenes, as well as few stills, through the photos we collated in this gallery.
On the first week, we witnessed the almost incessant bickering of Rita and Tupe, childhood frenemies played by Yam Concepcion and Gerald Anderson whose paths once again intertwined after so many years in a truly unexpected and bizarre way. From their very first encounter that probably made us bitin, their second chance meeting was more thrilling as that’s when their almost never-ending squabbling began. But off-cam, the two actors just laughed it off.
As we wondered why she’s extremely annoyed at him (and why he kept on calling her poknat!), we discovered that it was because she blamed Tupe for her miserable life after she only graduated as salutatorian, while he’s the valedictorian allegedly because his father donated a building to their school.
While that flashback scene between her and mother Celia (Aleck Bovick) was tear-jerking, Yam posted a set of portraits of her smilingly showing the medals and diploma of the young Rita while cladded in school uniform and a wig with a bald spot (or poknat).
And, of course, who would forget the steamy, intimate scene of Rita and Tupe at the falls we first saw on the trailer that both arguably surprised and thrilled us? While there were only just the two of them on that particular scene, it was revealed in one of Yam’s post that it actually took a whole production crew to perfectly shoot it.
Aside from the pictures we’re able to find in Yam’s official Instagram account, Wella Mediana is also too generous to share a lot of off-cam snaps on her own page, much to the delight of the avid viewers of the series and fans of the three lead stars.
She posted a photo of the sweet moment wherein Tupe surprised Rita with a bouquet of flowers before the officially going back to the review center, as well as in their romantic date.
There were also a few stills of the couple’s kilig moment before Rita took her licensure exam to become a nurse and a photo of Yam with Joey Marquez, who impeccably portrayed the role of Tupe’s father Miguel Salcedo, which was taken when her character was summoned to the Salcedo residence.
Of course, she also didn’t miss to capture the fun moments of the actress with her another leading man JM de Guzman, whose character Peterson was already introduced this week. As their team-up on-cam makes us all kilig, the same apparently went off-screen.
Never miss an episode of Init Sa Magdamag, weeknights after Huwag Kang Mangamba on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z Channel 11, and iWantTFC!
