Former Pinoy Big Brother housemates Kaori Oinuma and Rhys Miguel get their biggest break via series adaptation of The Four Bad Boys and Me. Joining them is fellow Rise Artist Jeremiah Lisbo, together with Kapamilya stars Maymay Entrata, Aljon Mendoza, Karina Bautista, Mark Rivera, Alora Sasam, and Chie Filomeno.
Just like in their PBB journey, Kaori and Rhys encountered challenges en route to showbiz. Making it to the pioneer batch of talents under Rise Artist Studio took them several auditions and go-sees with other aspirants. Until, finally, they were absorbed by the said talent arm from the Star Hunt.
This does not differ from Jeremiah’s artista story. He was first seen in the Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil starrer Make It With You, which he did right after he finished his studies.
While they’re surprised and still on cloud nine, the fast-rising stars are grateful and all geared up for their biggest project to date. The Rise Artists are likewise given their own digital talk show called We Rise Together where they interview some of the biggest names in the industry. They say their goal is to serve viewers with good vibes through the platform.
Even at a young age, Kaori, Rhys, and Jeremiah are already equipped with life principles that keep them grounded as they work for their dreams. Kaori believes nothing is impossible as long as you are willing to work hard. Rhys adds that no matter where life brings you, family must be the top priority. Meanwhile, Jeremiah highlights that a person must rely on God, and not on himself, in working out his dreams. Things fall into their rightful place when you combine prayers, patience, and unwavering faith.
In The Four Bad Boys and Me, Rhys plays as Jeydon, the bad boy with a soft side. Jeremiah is the shy type Marky while Kaori is the campus loner Candice.
The series will premiere on August 27 under Star Cinema’s streaming platforms.
