In the recent Live Gala Night, Ryssi received the highest score at 99.02% of combined judges’ score and public votes. She stepped out of her comfort zone with indeed a show-stopping performance of “Kilometro” that showcased her versatility, swag, and charisma. “Sumasayaw ka pala,” was Regine Velasquez’s relatable reaction to Ryssi’s upbeat performance. Chito Miranda was surprised to see the 22-year-old’s “bad girl side.”

Ann Raniel, a consistent Rank 2, mesmerized the judges with her fierce performance of “One Night Only.” She owned the theme with her powerful vocal range. Gary Valenciano told her, “Na-prove mo na magaling ka talaga.”

Being the first hopeful to get a standing ovation from all four judges with his superb performance of “End of The Road” proves that Khimo deserves a spot in the finale.

Meanwhile, Bryan rolled the dice with an out-of-this-world rendition of “Mundo” – high notes and all. But it was truly worth the risk. Moira called him a total package while Chito prophesied a major concert for the hopeful.

Kice is getting more comfortable on stage every week. He started mellow, then finished strong complete with a surprising falsetto in his rock-and-roll performance of “Basket Case.” Moira commented, “I think, Kice, whether you win Idol or not, you are already an idol because you are a total package, and you are not hard at all to remember.”
