Luis Manzano has too much on his plate, especially since he and his wife Jessy Mendiola welcomed their baby daughter, Isabella Rose. But it doesn’t seem to be all work and no play for the busy dad, who still finds time to create vlogs on YouTube. In his recent video, he served as the PA or Personal Assistant of I Can See Your Voice Singvestigator Long Mejia. And, as expected, it rained funny jokes!

The video commenced with Luis chatting with Long’s makeup artist, Jopay, whose humor is as on-point as the artist on his makeup chair. “Buti na lang dati dumaan ako ng pagko-construction,” quipped Jopay when asked how he smoothens Long’s “rough” face.

It cuts to Luis’ briefing with Long, who cracked us up with his exaggerated stories about his wealth. As the story goes, he has a secret vault at home because one bank establishment wouldn’t be enough to store all his money. “Halimbawa, ‘pag inutusan kita, maiikot mo ‘yung buong Metro Manila sa pagwi-withdraw at deposit.” He said that his mansion is so huge his helpers have to use motorbikes inside, “Kasi ‘pag inutusan ko kunwari magpapakuha ako ng yelo, pagdating sa akin tunaw na.” And his housemaid named Diana got lost inside the mansion after she was told to get fish from the kitchen. “Palagay ko’y naligaw,” went his punchline, complete with ‘panawagan’ for his missing helper.

They were taping for I Can See Your Voice that day, and the boss’ first request was a soothing massage. He also asked Luis to carry him from the hallway to the studio, “Baka magasgas daliri ko.” Then he asked for help in putting on his shoes.

Their comedic chemistry was on full display backstage while waiting for their next filming. Long joked that his helpers take vacations every two weeks, all expenses paid. Laughter echoed around the room when he said that he might take over Coco Martin in FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, “Hindi mahahalata kasi wala namang pagkakaiba.” He then ordered his P.A. to crack open 33 pieces of watermelon seeds for him. LOL! He guaranteed that he was satisfied with Luis’ services and that he might hire him again.

Luis closed the video with a sneak peek of his birthday celebration during their taping. He turned 42 last April 21.
