Soon, our favorite late night weekend talent-mystery game show will fill us once again with loads of laughter. As we all welcome the brand new season of I Can See Your Voice, let us reminisce on some of the most memorable episodes we have watched in its first season.
Apart of course from the ever so talented host Luis Manzano, and the very witty and humorous sing-vestigators, we won’t miss looking back on the episodes where our favorite Kapamilya leading ladies were guested on the show.
Nadine Lustre
JaDine fans will definitely recall this episode as Multimedia Princess Nadine Lustre accepted the challenge in the game show. Her onscreen and real life partner James Reid already guested on the show before she did and Nadine shared to everyone how James found the game hard to play and was left with choosing a See-ntunado. When asked by Luis what her strategy was in finding out the See-nger and the See-ntunado, Nadine did not reveal what it was.
Bea Alonzo
We cannot deny that our very lovely Bea Alonzo was also gifted a talent in singing and she confidently flaunted it in the show when she was left with who she believed a See-nger. They both sang “Tattooed On My Mind” and when the “See-nger” started to sing, Bea jumped for joy as she found out that JM Santos, the “See-nger”, was actually one. Even Angeline Quinto and the rest from the panel of celebrities were shocked and impressed at the same time.
Anne Curtis
Even though Anne was left with a See-ntonado, it was still a fun episode especially when they both performed a duet with the hit single "Halik" by Aegis. The It’s Showtime host gave her all out performance when she sang the first part of the song, hoping that Kate Hao was a See-nger. But it turned out the other way around. Despite that, Anne still could be seen enjoying her performance with Kate.
Maja Salvador
The star of The Killer Bride Maja Salvador’s hit single "Dahan-Dahan" from her album Believe was sang in her duet with Red Lat who was found to be a See-nger in the end. The two gracefully performed the song and we are sure all our Kapamilyas also sang to the beat of the song!
Kim Chiu
Like Maja, Kim also got to sing her own single "Mr. Right" during her duet with Dyvez Eltanal who was sadly a See-ntonado and apparently, was not Mr. Right. Nonetheless, we’re sure Dyvez went home happy with his 25,000 pesos cash especially it was his birthday during that day.
Arci Muñoz
Being the vocalist of the rock band Philia, it’s not surprising to see Arci perform a rock song again. This time, she sang a pop rock song by Sampaguita, which was "Bonggahan." We witnessed how Arci effortlessly sang the hit song and what made it even more fun was the fact that she was left with a See-nger.
Jodi Sta. Maria
We have been definitely seeing a lot who have their own covers of "Torete," one of the most popular songs of the band Moonstar88, but when Jodi sang it in their duet, we can say that it’s one of the best performances.
The Sino Ang Maysala? Mea Culpa star was just so calm and sweet when she was singing her part in the duet but once her partner starts to sing a few lines also, Jodi was so shocked and glad at the same time, finding out she was left with a See-nger.
Yassi Pressman
This was indeed an entertaining episode as Wacky Kiray believed and told everyone that he actually looks like the FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano star Yassi Pressman when he has make up. K Brosas was also one of the sing-vestigators in this episode and she jokingly teased Wacky that he may be called “Yucky Pressman” if he really sticks to his belief. In the Stage of Truth, Yassi and Sam Concepcion were held in suspense as they began the opening lines of the VST & Co. hit "Awitin Mo, Isasayaw Ko". When it was their chosen SEE-cret singer, taxi driver Ernie Paredes' turn, it led to heaps of cheers as he was indeed a SEE-nger singing the tune effortlessly.
It was certainly astounding to see all these gorgeous Kapamilya leading ladies joining in the fun and enjoyment on I Can See Your Voice. Excited to see our other Kapamilya leading ladies on the show? We shall surely see more of them on the show's upcoming season!
Catch I Can See Your Voice Season 2 coming this Saturday, August 10, 2019 after Maalaala Mo Kaya.
