It was more than a year of fun-filled episodes with I Can See Your Voice completing our weekend nights with so much smiles and laughter. And as we bid goodbye to the good vibes show we all loved, let us look back at some of the most exciting moments when some of the top Kapamilya leading men joined the fun in being our guest artists in the show.
1. Daniel Padilla
First on our list is the “King of Hearts,” Daniel Padilla. He a made a good choice for his final duet. He happened to pick a true blue singer in the end, Jonathan Garcia, who impersonates the versatile actor Christopher De Leon. Together, they sang the OPM classic “Kahit Maputi Na Ang Buhok Ko”, which Daniel revived as the official soundtrack of his blockbuster film titled “The Hows of Us” with queen of hearts Kathryn Bernardo.
2. Piolo Pascual
Next is the “Ultimate Heartthrob,” Piolo Pascual. With the help of his son Inigo Pascual who stood by his side throughout the show, Piolo made a right choice in the end and picked a singer. They sang the OPM song “Paano Ba Ang Magmahal” which was Piolo’s original duet with the Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo for their 2015 romantic drama film titled “The Breakup Playlist”.
3. James Reid
Another heartthrob, James Reid guested on the show in January 2018. One of his best moments in the show was when our resident singvestigator Wacky Kiray couldn’t help himself by getting all ‘kilig’ with James and fake-fainted on him while all the other singvestigators are saying their suggestions to James. And as what any other gentleman would do, James caught Wacky Kiray in his arms, which turned out to be a comical scene that made us all laugh.
4. Jericho Rosales
Halik star Jericho Rosales didn’t get so lucky when he guested on the show in August last year. Although the contestant he chose to have a duet with at the end of the show bears the same name as his, Jericho or ‘Eco’ Ramota was revealed to be a seen-tunado. Their duet of Sugarfree’s “Makita Kang Muli” is one of the most hilarious scenes in the show that left the audience ROTFL.
5. Sam Milby
Shortly after Jericho guested on the show, the other Halik star Sam Milby also guested in August 2018. But unlike Jericho, Sam was fortunate in picking the right one to have a duet with at the end of the show. Together with the singer contestant Rey Enano, Sam serenaded everyone with his hit OPM single “Hindi Kita Iiwan”.
6. Richard Yap
Finally, Richard Yap is another heartthrob who had a priceless, memorable moment in the show. While talking to Luis Manzano, ‘Papa Chen’ accidentally mentioned Toni Gonzaga’s name while looking at and wanting to call our resident singvestigator Alex Gonzaga. This funny awkward moment left the chatty Alex speechless and just giggling to Richard’s mistake.
These dashing heartthrobs truly made our hearts melt as they brought fun and laughter in I Can See Your Voice.
