Over the past weeks, we have not only seen a lot of Maris Racal, Jai Agpangan, and Kyo Quijano through their well-loved digital series “How To Move On In 30 Days”, but in their respective vlogs as well. And for Maris’ latest upload last May 2, the three of them amused us with the fun and refreshing game titled “Pipilahan o Di Pipilahan”.
This game, which is inspired by Maris’ LSS-inducing track “Pumila Ka,” actually has the same mechanics as the ever-favorite “Jojowain o Trotropahin” challenge, wherein they determined who among the personalities given they would likely to line up or not, and had to explain why.
For “Di Pipilahan,” they all agreed that it would be Zaijian Jaranilla, Jairus Aquino, McCoy De Leon, Ronnie Alonte, their co-star-turned-katropa Albie Casiño, and ABS-CBN Head of TV Production and Star Magic Direk Laurenti Dyogi.
Meanwhile, the three had a long list of “pipilahan.” Maris exclaimed “luluhuran” and “papakasalan” by the mention of her close friend Sue Ramirez, which Jai supported by saying she’s girlfriend material. They also expressed their admiration to Kapamilya leading ladies Janella Salvador, Liza Soberano, Kathryn Bernardo, Anne Curtis, Loisa Andalio, and Julia Barretto, as well as to heartthrobs Zanjoe Marudo and Joshua Garcia. They also all love It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda for his wisdom, as well as BLACKPINK members Jennie and Lisa Manoban.
Even though they shared the same sentiments towards the aforementioned celebrities, the three onscreen besties had different perspectives about the other personalities enumerated to them.
Maris, who’s apparently a K-pop fan, wasn’t able to contain her excitement upon the mention of idols Irene of Red Velvet, Eugene of ITZY, and IU – to which only Kyo can relate since Jai is seemingly not much into Hallyu. Thus, Maris, who’s favorite bonding moment with boyfriend Rico Blanco, is watching concerts of IU, gave her an on-the-spot orientation.
Jai also had her own fangirl moment when her ultimate celebrity crushes Donny Pangilinan and Robi Domingo were mentioned. According to her, she admires the He’s Into Her leading man for being kind, family-oriented, and religious, while Robi has been her longtime crush. However, it was only Kyo who voted “pipilahan” for BTS member V, a.k.a. Taehyung.
Kyo and Jai both uttered “pipilahan” for ultimate heartthrobs Ian Veneracion and Piolo Pascual, but not Maris since she only sees them as “tropa”.
With regards to their co-star Carlo Aquino, Maris and Kyo revealed how Jai gets kilig with his presence in their lock-in taping, thus Jai was compelled to answer “pipilahan.”
They weren’t able to hide their kilig when Rico Blanco’s name was mentioned, with Jai and Kyo agreeing that he is definitely all Maris’. The 24-year-old actress expressed her apologies for voting “pipilahan” to a lot. However, she assured him that he’s the only one for her.
