As the proverb goes, every end is actually the beginning of something new. Last week, Home Sweetie Home finally bade farewell to Romeo (John Lloyd Cruz) whom we all know is the husband of Julie (Toni Gonzaga). The story tells us that Romeo officially cut his ties with Julie and the rest of their family and friends by mailing a farewell letter and the annulment papers for the revocation of their marriage. With this, Julie decided to burn all of Romeo’s things to completely move on from him. Unfortunately, the fire spread and their house was burned down as well. Thus, Julie and her family are in need to find a new home.

Indeed, it is time for everyone to move on from the past and say hello to a new beginning! As Julie and her family move into a new neighborhood at Brgy. Isla Barako, they will get to know a new set of characters who will surely add color to their lives. They are her “extra fancy sissy” Mikee (Alex Gonzaga), the “extra swabeng dancer” Ferdie (Vhong Navarro), the “extra cutie bartender” Hiro (Fumiya Sankai), the “extra tsismosong errand boy” Bogs (Yamyam Gucong), their aunt who will be called as Tita Oya (Rio Locsin), barangay captain Kap Frank (Bobot Mortiz), the “extra naughty but loyal” guy Edwin (Bayani Agbayani), and the “extra gwaping but frustrated actor” named Pip (Luis Manzano).

Of course, we will also witness a stronger and braver Julie with her daughter, her siblings Gigi (Miles Ocampo) and Rence (Clarence Delgado), and the very cute Jordan (Jordan Lim).

New home, new neighbors and a new story await us in the new season of the show! Let us welcome the new characters who will bring us extra fun in Home Sweetie Home: Extra Sweet every Saturday after TV Patrol Weekend.
