Sisters by blood, best friends by choice.
This is how the awesome Gonzaga sisters describe their incomparable bond that surely gets us either envious or wishful that our connection with our siblings is as tight as theirs.
The elder sister was the first one to set her feet in show business through her iconic “I love you, Piolo!” yell for a softdrinks commercial in 2001 that paved her way to ultimate stardom. Meanwhile, the youngest followed her footsteps and successfully scored a role in the youth-oriented program Let’s Go in 2007.
Despite having contrasting personalities, it’s fantastic how the serious Toni and the ‘sarcastic’ Alex are able to keep their closeness and jive with each other. For sure, it is due to sisterly love, but we also found some similarities between them, such as the following:
They are equally beautiful
It’s inevitable for us not to take a few seconds before we scroll up our social media feeds every time we spot the posts of these sizzums, especially if those are their selfies. We can’t help but behold how striking their resemblance is and how flawlessly gorgeous they are!
They both have sunny personalities
Their captivating beauty cannot only be related to genes and regimen, but to their admirable personality as well. The Gonzaga Sisters are both amusing as they seem to inject a tinge of comedy in every situation or conversation on and off-cam, which could be the reason why their appearances together are always a must-see.
They are both multi-faceted artists
Toni is indeed worthy of her “Ultimate Multimedia Superstar” for she is able to penetrate all media platforms with her incredible versatility. She’s definitely an all-in-one package because she can sing, act, host, and even dance. Her songs are chart-topping, her movies are blockbuster hits, her programs are top-rating, and her performances are worth-watching.
On the other hand, Alex was able to get out from the shadows of her ate and make a mark for herself. She showcased how multitalented she is too by showcasing her singing, acting, and hosting prowess. Aside from that, she is also an author and a vlogger.
They are ultimate buddies
Watching their interviews together is always a bliss. They share their fondest and most memorable moments together from their childhood up to now that they are adults (and Toni already has her own family with Director Paul Soriano and Baby Seve).
Toni remarked in one of her interviews that life would be boring if Alex wasn’t there. She’s been her best friend since birth and been contented with her company, thus it’s alright for her to not have friends when they were still kids. Now, they are also business partners for a milk tea shop.
They love each other so much
In one of their guestings in Magandang Buhay, Alex confessed that they have a love-hate relationship and are not very expressive of their feelings. In spite of this, they still become partners-in-crime and each other’s protector in any circumstance. They are also each other’s shoulder to cry on in times of heartbreak and ultimate companion in every step of the way.
Alex also plays a vital role in Toni’s matriarchal life as she helps them look after Baby Seve whenever she and her husband are not around.
Are Alex and Toni your ultimate #SiblingGoals as well?
