The Huwag Kang Mangamba boys dropped their latest quip and it started with tinapa oil. 

Enchong Dee, Seth Fedelin, and Kyle Echarri are the newest squad to watch for fun and ‘kalokohan.’ This video pretty much sums up their bond as one of them falls victim to a ‘missing phone’ prank! 

In a vlog uploaded on Enchong’s YouTube channel, he explained what ‘triggered’ him to pull a prank on Kyle. According to the backstory, Kyle ate Enchong’s tinapa or smoked fish in oil without even asking for permission. Then, the playful Kyle dabbed his oil-smeared hand on Enchong’s shirt. Boom! “Babawi ako,” Enchong said in jest.

Kyle has a habit of just leaving his mobile phone anywhere, so Enchong hid the gadget underneath his bag and went to sleep. Seth acted filming his own vlog as well to capture Kyle’s reaction, or better yet, struggle in finding his phone. 

Kyle looked all over the place for half an hour. He thought Seth was guilty of something but the latter got his acting chops on full display. Seth pretended to help investigate and trace the possible culprits until the phone stopped ringing. “Ibig sabihin may nakapulot na tapos pinatay!” Seth blurted out. 

Then growing anxious, Kyle asked Seth to halt the recording so his mom wouldn’t know what happened. He had one suspect, who is none other than Enchong. But he didn’t want to bother the actor’s sleeping time. He started to inspect Enchong’s belongings and – finally – found his missing mobile phone. 

The lesson of this prank, according to Seth, is “huwag kang mangti-trip kung ayaw mong mapag-trip-an!” But for Kyle, the lesson would have to be, “Not to trust Enchong Dee!” The trio then joked around and laughed over the successful prank.
