Angeline Quinto 10 years in showbiz

As she celebrates her wonderful 10 years in the local entertainment scene, ASAP Natin ‘To mainstay Angeline Quinto will be having a special concert series in the coming months entitled “10Q: Ten Years of Angeline Quinto at the Metropolitan Theater”.

Thus, as a part of the celebration, she took us with her to a trip down memory lane as she looked back on her past decade in the industry by showing us some of her photos and videos on the internet and disclosing the story behind each of those in the latest vlog she uploaded on her YouTube channel, titled “Pictsura ko sa Nagdaang 10 Years - Jojokrayin to Jojowain”.

The Queen of Teleserye Themesongs couldn’t help but laugh upon seeing the first photo, which was taken during a motorcade of “Star Power: Sharon’s Search for the Next Female Superstar”, the Kapamilya singing contest that she dominated in 2011.

Angeline then showed a collage of her pictures with her ultimate idol, Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, who she was able to meet via her successful stints in television singing contests “Star for a Night” and “Diz Iz It”. She also talked about her “sungki” as she displayed one of the posters used for the first-ever film she did, “Born To Love You”, which she starred opposite Coco Martin in 2012.

Next was a shot of her and Erik Santos during an interview for their “KQ” concert in 2015, which was the first major concert she did in Araneta Coliseum, as well as of her 9th Star Magic Ball appearance in 2015 wherein she was wearing a figure-hugging embellished cream mermaid gown created by the late fashion designer Pepsi Herrera.

The 31-year-old singer-actress then emphasized her awesome transformation in her photoshoot for the DIVAS Live in Manila concert, which she staged alongside Yeng Constantino, KZ Tandingan, and Kyla in 2017, imparting that it’s because she could already afford hiring her own glam team during that time. She showed as well a collage of her in cleavage-baring dresses that she wore in probably one of the ABS-CBN Christmas Specials and imparted that she sometimes gets called out for wearing that type of attire, in which, according to her, she is most comfortable with.

She played the videos of her remarkable performances in ”Diz Iz It” and “Star Power” as well, including the very first time she sang her biggest hit “Sa Isang Pangarap.” She also recalled her Gandang Gabi Vice debut and one of her most memorable Magandang Buhay guestings with her beloved Mama Bob, who passed away last year.

Angeline then recalled how she and Mama Bob used to talk about the Metropolitan Theater every time they passed by it when she was still a kid. Thus, she’s very much grateful for the opportunity to hold her digital concert at the prestigious, historical cultural center.

“10Q: Ten Years of Angeline Quinto at the Metropolitan Theater” is a series of 10 digital concerts that can be streamed ktx.ph, TFC, and iWantTFC starting on October 29, 2021 until February 19, 2022.
