Angeline Quinto reveals what makes “Huwag Kang Mangamba” special

Always eager to take her talent up a notch, Angeline Quinto will be seen in primetime via newest Kapamilya series Huwag Kang Mangamba topbilled by the popular quartet of Andrea Brillantes, Francine Diaz, Seth Fedelin, and Kyle Echarri.

The inspirational drama explores the different facets of human life. While it’s a heavy drama by nature, there are characters such as that of Angeline that serve as breather from all the emotional encounters. Angeline plays Darling – the bubbly daughter of a barber shop owner played by Soliman Cruz. Theirs is a simple life reminiscent of her humble beginnings, thus the story tugs at her heartstrings. She’s reminded of the happy and challenging times with her Mama Bob. Just like her, Darling also grew up in a single-parent home.

Just like her and Mama Bob, Darling and her father are not quitters. They are resilient enough to get back up however circumstances try to knock them down. Angeline also sang the show’s soundtrack – her last song Mama Bob was able to listen to. It makes this project more special and close to her heart.

Working with the Gold Squad, Angeline has nothing but sweet words for the bunch. She often sees them on ASAP Natin ‘To but it feels different and more personal when they are all locked-in at the location. She got to know them better. She said the squad complements each other’s personalities. They are a perfect mix! They are all sweet and brilliant young stars.

In this series, Angeline also shares the screen with veterans including Eula Valdes, Sylvia Sanchez, and Nonie Buencamino. The Queen of Teleserye Theme Songs is teeming with gratitude for her co-actors who are all generous and helpful. She said the veterans are never selfish of their expertise, always willing to share pointers. She also mentioned that Sylvia loves to bring food on the set. Angeline is also thankful to the management for the opportunity to showcase her acting talent.

Don’t miss the premiere of Huwag Kang Mangamba on March 22.
