Seth Fedelin’s remarkable rise from being a PBB housemate to becoming a Kapamilya heartthrob

With his captivating hazel brown eyes, flawless complexion, and ruggedly awesome style, it’s seemingly effortless for fast-rising star Seth Fedelin to catch our attention – and even our hearts. But through the years, he’s able to prove that he is definitely more than just a pretty face for he is also talented!

It may have been only two years ago since he began his showbiz career, yet he’s already able to impress us with his acting chops. And starting March 22, we’re going to see him anew in the upcoming inspirational series Huwag Kang Mangamba! But before that, let’s revisit first his previous television stints via this Kapamilya Spotlight feature.

Just like many of the stars that we admire, his ticket to the industry was by joining a reality program. In 2019, he was among the first batch of teen housemates of the Pinoy Big Brother Otso season and was known as the “Hope-pool Son of Cavite”.

He may have fallen short in his bid to become the Big Winner or be one of the Big 4 of their batch, but a slew of opportunities was bestowed to Seth as soon as he stepped out of the outside world. From doing TV guestings, he went on to land his first-ever teleserye role via the highly successful afternoon soap opera Kadenang Ginto as he portrayed the gumptious and cheerful young man named Mikoy.

It was also through that series wherein he and his co-stars Andrea Brillantes, Francine Diaz, and Kyle Echarri were launched as The Gold Squad. Their elite group has amassed a huge following from the audiences, giving birth to the creation of their eponymous YouTube channel through which their video blogs are uploaded regularly.

Seeing his potential as a dramatic actor, he was eventually tapped to do the Maalaala Mo Kaya episode titled “Ilog” last year, wherein he played one of the Plazo Brothers – four siblings from Camarines Sur suffering from the rare genetic condition called anhidrotic ectodermal dysplasia.

And in the latter part of 2020, the 18-year-old promising actor made an entrance in the long-running primetime series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano as he portrayed Macoy, the hardworking and dependable house helper in Lito’s (Richard Gutierrez) mansion.

Are you excited as us to see Seth as Pio in Huwag Kang Mangamba? Well, you better not miss an episode of it once it starts airing on March 22 on Kapamilya ChannelKapamilya Online Live, and A2Z!
