Adhering to Ace’s (Sam Milby) orders, Helen (Almira Muhlach) runs away with Baby CJ. Apparently, Ace wishes to start anew with Jade (Yam Concepcion) without Baby CJ under their care. Jade goes mad as she tries to chase her son but Ace stops her and starts hurting her.
Lino (Jericho Rosales) comes in rescue but Ace only resorts to taking out his gun and using Jade as a hostage. While Lino is throwing in his litany, Ace loses temper and shoots him in the arm.
Jade manages to escape from Ace’s hands but she unfortunately gets pushed off the ground. Lino gets up and tries to beat Ace.
After a while, Jacky comes in and sees Jade lying helpless. She is told that Helen ran away with Baby CJ, so she attempts to go after the innocent child.
The scene opens with Helen making her way into a river where she is supposed to meet a boatman who will secretly assist her going to the other side of the town, where Paeng (Cris Villanueva) is waiting for her. Helen is starting to panic and lose her temper with the whining child. She receives a call from Paeng asking her to hurry and leave the baby behind. But Helen still remains devoted to Ace’s demands.
Helen still waits for the boatman; giving Jacky enough chance to arrive just in time. Jacky begs Helen to give her Baby CJ but to no avail. She tries one more and calmly knocks on Helen’s conscience, saying the latter is not a criminal and there is no reason for her to be. Jacky is willing to let Helen flee as long as Helen would spare Baby CJ from all the drama and chaos happening at that moment.
Helen looks around and shouts Paeng and Ace’s names but when she realized that she is indeed alone, Helen decides to give in to Jacky’s pleas.
Jacky receives Baby CJ in her arms and thanks Helen. She thought that she and Baby CJ are already safe; and Helen’s mind was already enlightened. But Helen suddenly stops Jacky and plunges her into the river along with Baby CJ.
