After a series of drama and chaos, Jade (Yam Concepcion) finally yields to the law. Two lady cops escort her out of the hospital where she was confined due to a contagious pulmonary disease which she later on succeeded.
As Jade walks towards Lino (Jericho Rosales) and Baby CJ, she immerses her mind in thoughts of remorse over her mistakes and gratitude towards Lino. Jade’s face is seen with traces of regrets while thinking of Lino’s never-ending kindness towards her. Despite all the pain and woes she has caused him, Lino did not once break his promise of being by Jade’s side all the time.
In Lino’s perspective, he looks at Jade as still the mother of his child. For Lino, the spite and heartache they caused each other in the past will never be enough to just disregard Jade’s importance in his life.
Jade pleads the police to release her hands for a while, so she could properly talk to Lino and Nanay Dolor (Amy Austria) and hold Baby CJ before she meets her punishment. Nanay Dolor begs the cops in behalf of Jade as well.
Shedding tears of sympathy and sadness, Nanay Dolor tries to lift Jade’s spirit up; saying Jade is still bestowed with second chances and her recovery from her illness prove so.
Jade cries as she asks for Nanay Dolor’s forgiveness and she attempts to kneel down to her as a sign of sincerity. But Nanay Dolor stops her from doing so. She calls Jade ‘anak’ and tells her that the only thing she wishes from Jade is her determination to start anew for herself and Baby CJ.
Jade thanks Nanay Dolor for the unconditional love, endless patience, and motherly care she continues to receive from her. But she requests Nanay Dolor to always remind Baby CJ everyday that he has a mother loving him from afar.
Jade becomes more emotional as she cradles Baby CJ in her arms.
