Lino (Jericho Rosales) arrives in the office looking tired and ill-tempered again. He approaches Barry (Christian Bables) and says he just met someone who could possibly help in his investigation about the bombing incident in his new house.
Barry asks him to stop moving on his own as it may only put his life at risk. He also wants to know if these are just part of looking for evidences against Ace or simply a way of avoiding Jacky (Yen Santos).
Jacky hears the two men’s conversation; and asks why Lino would try to refrain from spending time with her.
Lino denies Barry’s accusations, saying there is no reason for him to stay away from Jacky. Lino also asks her to stop worrying as nothing bad will happen to him despite his personal investigations. He says he is more worried about Jacky once she goes back to MonteCorp.
Jacky assures him that she can handle herself.
