If there is someone who unintentionally catches all the woe and spite that Lino (Jericho Rosales) and Jade (Yam Concepcion) throw at each other, it would be none other than Baby CJ who is the biggest victim of their myriad disputes.

There was even a moment when the ex-lovers turned their verbal clash into a physical one and paid no heed with the innocent child who was literally caught in the middle of their fight. 

Fortunately, Lino and Jade decided to put the differences aside for the sake of Baby CJ’s long delayed christening. A drop of tear tenderly fell down Jade’s eye as she received the invite to her son’s baptismal rites. Finally, her longing would be eased and her wish to cradle Baby CJ in her arms would come to reality.

The solemn ceremony has indeed brought old adversaries together as the Bartolome clan and Jade, along with godmothers Tet (Karla Pambid) and Marissa (Nina Dolina) and other guests, gather at the church to bless Baby CJ’s journey to Christianity.

The smiles and loving faces of Lino and Jade as they hold Baby CJ make them an image of a happy family. But the picture-perfect family is just a dream and would soon become hazy again as Jade pushes through with the vile plans she plotted with Ace (Sam Milby).

This episode of Halik has brought mixed emotions to the series’ avid viewers. The audiences felt heart-rending pain and regrets as they see Lino and Jade come together for Baby CJ’s welfare; while they also anticipate the next set of nail-biting scenes as Jade plans to sneak the child away amidst the joyful occasion.
