If we stick to the title of the upcoming primetime series Halik, for sure, most of us are expecting that it would be studded with scenes wherein the main characters portrayed by Jericho Rosales, Yen Santos, Sam Milby, and Yam Concepcion are going to be intimate towards each other.
But as we anticipate its much-awaited kick-off this coming August 13, for the meantime, let’s take a look back on the lead actors’ on-screen kisses in their previous teleserye appearances.
The Legal Wife
Many of us certainly got pissed off with Adrian because of his illicit affair with Nicole (Maja Salvador). However, all the hate he received was eventually replaced with kilig as his wife Monica (Angel Locsin) still accepted him and gave their relationship a second try, as depicted in this steamy scene.
Although Aryann (Arci Muñoz) already called it quits between them and got tied up with another man, Waldo couldn’t help but assume that she still has feelings for him, especially when she helped him resolve the irregularity he was involved in. As he forced her to admit that her love for him remains, he kissed her.
Bridges of Love
Every first in a relationship is the sweetest, right? Just like Gael and Mia’s (Maja Salvador) first kiss which happened on the spot that has a sentimental value in their hearts.
Yes, wedding is one of the most important phase in a couple’s life together, but the honeymoon is arguably the most exciting. Isn’t it, Seb and Kara (Julia Montes).
Maging Sino Ka Man
By simply seeing this nostalgic, passionate smooch again, we have surely forgotten that JB once told Celine (Anne Curtis) the piercing line “I…never…said…that I love you!”
All of Me
It’s really obvious how Lena’s feelings towards her ex-husband Manuel (Albert Martinez) never escaped her as she still remember every small, single detail about him everytime she’s with Edong (JM de Guzman), who unbeknownst to her is the younger version of the man she loves. In order to shut her up, Edong gave him a short but sweet kiss.
Just when Lena thought that her confession would be put into waste and her admiration would be not reciprocated, Manuel also confided his feelings for the endearing lady with a “knock-knock” joke and a smooch.
Almost is indeed never enough! As excitement ran through our veins as Jepoy (Vin Abrenica) already unraveled the contents of his heart to Ana and their lips was about to interlock, the latter’s phone rang out of the blue, shattering all our hearts.
All of Me
Another case of “so close, yet so far”. You probably thought that the timid Joey (Jason Abalos) finally had the guts to ‘fess up to the new woman in his life by kissing her. But sorry to say, it was just a fantasy.
FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano
Perhaps, Lena thought that asking Fernan (Coco Martin) about how he was, handing him a mug of hot coffee, and saying her thanks were not enough to return his acts of kindness for her and her son Emman. Thus, she gave him a peck on the cheek, which apparently surprised him.
Are they going to show off more intense kissing scenes and intimate moments than these? Find out by watching Halik, starting August 13 on Primetime Bida.
