She said both of them are accountable for their actions, and they would really take time to work things out and resolve the issue.

“It doesn’t really matter kung sino ang may kasalanan kasi ‘di ba they say, if are a girl, when you are girl, you cannot even say sorry to this guy, lalo na kasi lalaki siya. No, that’s not true. Sa akin, kung ako ang may mali, then I’d say I’m sorry,” Manilyn reiterated.

But the love they share, Manilyn said, has always been magical from the start, as she reveals how her series with Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, Got To Believe, in 2013, was something she really wanted to do because such premise about magic.

“Naniniwala ako sa pag-ibig.  Naniniwala ako sa magic ng pag-ibig. Kaya when this was offered to me, honestly, nung sinabi nila na Got To Believe ‘yung title and it’s about magic, it’s about falling in love. Because falling in love really is magic. ‘Di ba, you can’t say that you are in love with this person pero wala namang spark, wala namang magic,” Manilyn noted.

Manilyn plays Mama Bear Betchay, mother of Kathryn’s character Chichay in Got To Believe, which is on its rerun weekdays on Kapamilya Gold.
