We’ve known Benjie Paras as that raucous funnyman, illustrious athlete, basketball legend, and a loving father figure in teleseryes.

But his being that model father is what he carries quite impressively in real life—having raised two wonderful, upright, and handsome sons, who have likewise taken his cue in prominence both in the world of basketball and showbiz.

Andre and Kobe Paras, Benjie’s children with former wife Jackie Forster, are stars in their own right.

Andre, though starting as a star athlete himself, decided to focus his attention on a successful showbiz career, starring in several hit movies and TV dramas. He has also since become an outstanding TV and event host.

Kobe, on the other hand, followed the footsteps of his father on the basketball front. Passionate in pursuing a stellar career in the sport, Kobe would leave for the US and play for NCAA Division I schools. After several years being in the varsity rosters of these American universities, Kobe would decide to return to the Philippines and continue his bid for basketball greatness just like his father. And currently, he is part of the University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons in the UAAP, the same school his father played in and architected its last championship in 1986.
