Looking at all these then and now photos of one of the cutest couples in showbiz, we can say that nothing has really changed with their sweetness, plus their looks! Such as the endearing couple Manilyn Reynes and husband Aljon Jimenez, who haven’t really aged after all these years. More than that, they also manifest that true love doesn’t age as well.

If you have witnessed how Manilyn’s career has blossomed, you would know that at the peak of her career as a performer and actress in the mid to late 80s, she was paired with two of this era’s top young leading men, Janno Gibbs and Keempee de Leon. Fans who shipped her with these dashing actors gushed over their “OTP” connection or being “one true pair.” That is why it turned out to be surprising when Manilyn had confirmed her relationship with Aljon, a fellow actor and talent in a daily teen-oriented variety show, in 1991.  They would then finally tie the knot in 1996.

What seems to keep Manilyn and Aljon’s marriage strong and everlasting has been their “teamwork” as husband and wife. They always see to it that they work things out together, most especially when they do things for their sons Kyle, Kirk, and Kael. This is possibly one of the things we can look up to in a celebrity couple - that they manage to keep their relationship just as strong as before, even as partners managing a food business.

With everything that Manilyn and Aljon have been through as spouses and as parents of their beautiful children, they prove what love really is about and that true love really exists. With more than two decades of marriage, the couple has had a fair share of ups and downs. 

Manilyn and Aljon undoubtedly made us believe in the existence of ‘forever’ even in showbiz where a lot of factors can really get in the way of a genuine relationship. Manilyn might have been part of many onscreen tandems, but her real life “Papa Bear” Aljon will always be her one and only.
