20 most memorable guest appearances on Goin’ Bulilit

Nothing spells good vibes than cute ‘chikitings’ cracking jokes like grown-ups. That’s why the Kapamilya kiddie gag show Goin’ Bulilit reigned supreme for 14 years. Sometimes big Kapamilya stars would drop by to make Sunday evenings funnier and exciting. Here are some of the most amusing guest appearances in the iconic show that’s for adults… also!

Matinee idol John Lloyd Cruz made a cameo in one episode. He granted a family’s wish to have a photo taken by (not with) him. His on-screen partner Bea Alonzo likewise graced the program to promote her movie “She’s The One.” The dramatic actress can also do comedy!

Angelica Panganiban probably felt nostalgic and was reminded of her child star days as she met the bulilits. She bragged about her singing but the kids knew it was just, well, a joke. Gerald Anderson also joined the fun in a Christmas episode.

In his guesting, Jericho Rosales combined drama and comedy. He spearheaded an acting workshop for the new Bulilit recruits and taught them how to cry on cue, in an exaggerated delivery. Toni Gonzaga gave the aspiring stars some hosting lessons.

Veteran actor John Arcilla kept the humor loud while still teaching kids the value of patriotism. The Ultimate Heartthrob Piolo Pascual showcased his creativity by demonstrating DIY crafts and gifts.

Love teams acted in sketches reminiscent of their blockbuster films. Former Goin’ Bulilit star Kathryn Bernardo was all grown-up when she visited the show with Daniel Padilla five years after her graduation. Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia also flaunted their comedic chops. Joshua even acted as gay in the “I Love You, Waiter” sketch.

Liza Soberano introduced Enrique Gil to her Aunt Pattie, who had hilarious impromptu poems playing with their names.  Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber were a laughing in tandem as they try to end their relationship during a special occasion. Kim Chiu and Xian Lim also brought their jokes and antics on the Goin’ Bulilit set.

Zanjoe Marudo and Empoy Marquez doubled the laughter when they arrived as a duo for the “Joking Bulilit” game. They acted as leaders of the two teams. The rule was simple: do not laugh at the opponent’s joke! The kids try hard to contain their laughter but Zanjoe and Empoy’s humor is too hard to ignore.

Janella Salvador graced the show when she was still a teenybopper. Before she had a child of her own, Sofia Andres met the Goin’ Bulilit kids and became a millennial weather forecaster. Kuya Kim taught the bunch that learning is fun by joining in gags about science and wildlife.

The pioneer young divas of The Voice Kids Lyca Garanoid and Darlene Vibares belted out a hilarious song about different species of fish, in the tune of the jukebox hit “Basang-basa sa Ulan.” The Queen of Teleserye Theme Songs Angeline Quinto gave viewers a double treat by cracking jokes and showcasing her wide vocal range.

Pinoy Big Brother Otso babes Jelai Pilones, Lie Reposposa, Karina Bautista, and Kaori Oinuma played the “Choose Mo” game. In the challenge, we’ve seen Lie fell down a ball pit and Jelai screamed over a box full of cockroaches.
