Alexa Ilacad’s best Goin’ Bulilit moments that showed her versatility as an artist

Seven years since her graduation from Goin’ Bulilit, let’s revisit some of Alexa Ilacad’s best moments that truly showed her impressive versatility as an artist and made us laugh, too!

Before she got recognized as one of the most promising young actresses and singers of her generation, Alexa Ilacad initially impressed us with her acting and comedic chops through her notable stint in Goin’ Bulilit.

And seven years since her graduation from the long-running kiddie gag show, let’s revisit some of her best moments that truly exhibited her versatility and brilliance as a child star in this Kapamilya Toplist episode!

Just like her former co-stars, she was able to portray various characters – such as a hotel chambermaid trying to be wooed by a bellboy, an entrepreneur applying for business permit, a tourist helping out a fellow Filipino in Macau, and lady whose suitor expressed that he didn’t want to sue her anymore – in different hilarious skits.

For the show’s International Women’s Month tribute, Alexa and the other bulilits showed us what a true woman is. She played the role of a grumpy wife who kept on telling her confused husband, portrayed by Kobe Vidanes, that there’s nothing wrong even though apparently there was.

Apart from acting, she also amazed us with her singing talent as she and Mika Dela Cruz covered “Munting Hiling” by Hannah Flores with Andre Garcia and Nash Aguas as their respective partners on the music video. From making us laugh, the four of them went on to further amaze us with their dramatic chops when they starred in the Goin’ Bulilit short film “In My Dreams”.

As her five-year stint in the now-defunct program developed and honed her acting skills, it wasn’t surprising that the 20-year-old stunner turned out to become one of the most bankable young thespians in the local entertainment scene as soon as she graduated.

She amazed us with her teeny bopper roles in Luv U (2013) and Bagito (2014), more so when she started accepting more mature roles in the recent years, such as in The Good Son (2017) as the rebellious yet admirable imaginary girl named Justine and as the obnoxious antagonist in The Killer Bride (2019).

Alexa may be all grown up now, but we still love revisiting her best moments from Goin’ Bulilit, right?
