Staying true to its witty tagline “Ang programang ito ay for adults ALSO”, which primarily denotes that kids-at-heart could enjoy and relate to the program as much as the young audiences do, Goin’ Bulilit also invited several adult Kapamilya celebrities to join the wacky and adorable mainstays in delivering laughter and good vibes to the viewers.
We know that there’s already an adult present on the show who’s irremovable ever since it started 14 years ago – seasoned midget comedian Dagul – but wasn’t it more fun and thrilling to see some of our favorite not-so-young stars grace the program and display the comedic chops they possess? Here are some of them:
Piolo Pascual and Yen Santos
Portraying Mario Dumuwal, Clarence Delgado had the chance to chat with Northern Lights: A Journey To Love stars Piolo Pascual and Yen Santos when they appeared in the “GB Patrol” segment to promote their movie in 2017. His fellow Bulilit Raikko Mateo, who’s also part of the film, chimed in halfway to the end of the mock interview.
Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber
Just in time for the Valentine’s Day celebration, the phenomenal tandem of Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber indeed brought kilig vibes as they joined the kiddos in some of the sketches, such as the “5 Utos Sa Pakikipag-break” spearheaded by Marco Masa.
Liza Soberano, Enrique Gil, and Sofia Andres
A few days before the premiere of their action fantasy series Bagani lead stars Liza Soberano, Enrique Gil, and Sofia Andres got us glued on our televisions as we await their appearances. They first appeared in “GB Patrol” with Liza as the Star Patroller while Sofia as the Weather Girl, then joined the kids and Quen in welcoming the viewers to the show.
In that episode, the LizQuen loveteam also got included in the “Auntie Patty” sketch, with Mutya Orquia impressively portraying the disdainful titular character. Liza took on the role of her niece, Hope, who tagged along her boyfriend, Quen, to her party.
Zanjoe Marudo and Empoy Marquez
As they promote their comedy flick Kusina Kings, Zanjoe and Empoy showed off their comedic flair as they stood as the captains of the two opposing teams as they played the “Joking Bulilit” game in the “Ready, Get Set, Goin’” segment.
PBB Otso Teen Batch 1 Big 4
Fresh from their initial stints in Pinoy Big Brother: Otso, Teen Batch 1 Big 4 Jelay Pilones, Kaori Oinuma, Karina Bautista, and Lie Reposposa enthusiastically took on the challenges given to them with a tinge of comedy.
Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla
The Teen King and Queen extended the kilig they’re exuding in their then-ongoing primetime project Got to Believe to Goin’ Bulilit – wherein Kathryn’s acting prowess was honed as a child actress and Daniel first got enamored by her.
As his romantic drama series Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin was coming to a close, the Action-Drama Prince dropped by the comedy program not just to plug its finale, but to join the adorable kiddos in their funny shenanigans, too!
It’s just seldom to see the premier actress appear in a gag show, thus, it was indeed a delight to see her showing off her comedic facet as she performed alongside the wacky cast members. Her guesting was for promotion of her 2013 romantic flick She’s The One, which was also top-billed by Dingdong Dantes and Enrique Gil.
Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto
Just when we thought that the bickering of their warring characters Zoey and Joko in the 2018 movie I Love You, Hater was already droll, stars Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia further displayed their comedic sides during their guesting.
Kim Chiu and Xian Lim
In lieu of the Chinese New Year celebration, on-and-off-screen couple Kim Chiu and Xian Lim, who are both half-Chinese, graced the show to deliver doses of kilig and teach the kids a bit about the Chinese culture in an amusing way.
A few months before the premiere of her weekly sitcom Home Sweetie Home, the Ultimate Multimedia Star somehow gave us a glimpse of what we could expect from her in her new project.
Angelica Panganiban and John Lloyd Cruz
Kicking off her showbiz career through her remarkable stint in the popular 90’s youth-oriented show Ang TV, Angelica found herself eighteen years after in a kiddie comedy program and uttering the notable expressed “You’re esmyused!”, but now as an adult. She guested alongside her then-boyfriend John Lloyd Cruz.
Don’t miss the last episode of Goin’ Bulilit this coming Sunday, August 4, after TV Patrol Weekend.
