Goin’ Bulilit definitely was not merely a training ground for child artists to build their careers and hone their acting chops in the comedy genre, the gag show also became a fun place where they looked like they were just playing around and enjoying what they were doing with their friends.
And as these bulilit stars were just having fun while working, they probably didn’t realize that they were not only showcasing their talent in making us laugh, but also in impersonating famous personalities with these unforgettable parodies in this edition of Kapamilya Toplist.
The little Sharlene San Pedro aka ‘Korina K. Kanchez’ acted as the veteran broadcast journalist Korina Sanchez where she had the chance to guest in her show ‘Rated KKK’ the infamous Judas Iscariot.
JB Agustin then amused us with his depiction of a seasoned broadcast journalist as well, Ted Failon. In his skit entitled, ‘Failon: Eh Ano Ngayon’, instead of the original TV news magazine show Failon Ngayon, he showed himself as ‘Teddy Failon’ who investigated the fake goods in the market.
Bulilits Clarence Delgado, Izzy Canillo, and John Steven de Guzman also made us laugh when they did a parody of the morning talk show Magandang Buhay as they turned into “lola marshies” on “Matandang Buhay”. The marshies graced the audience with their presence as Clarence acting as Marshie Karlalola, Izzy portraying Marshie Jolalina, and John Steven de Guzman playing Marshie Lolay.
Raikko Mateo who introduced himself as “Kuya Kin” likewise spoofed the weekly science-environmental educational show Matanglawin. He does his best to inform everyone with his helpful facts and trivia, but his explorations or discoveries sometimes put him in an unfortunate situation. For instance in this video, he mistakenly believed the Poison Ivy as the healthy leaf vegetable malunggay.
The skit ‘Isumbong Mo Kay Jeff Tulpo’ gave the audience good vibes as the host himself “Jeff Tulpo”, "ang sumbungan ng mababait”, helped a citizen return a lost mobile phone to an ungrateful owner.
Aaliyah Belmoro’s portrayal of veteran news reporter Doris Bigornia also amused the viewers as she got to fulfill the wish of a family.
Father-and-son duo Jose Simpson and Jopet Simpson portrayed by Miguel and Izzy De Guzman parodied the roles of Atty. Jose C. Sison and Jopet S. Sison in the skit “Ipaglaban Mwah,” a spoof of the legal drama Ipaglaban Mo.
The hotheaded general ‘Heneral Puna’, portrayed by Clarence Delgado, left us giggling as he shouted in preparing the masses for the upcoming elections.
With her undeniable cuteness, “Nora the Explorer” kept us informed and entertained with her relevant and helpful information about different places. Nora was portrayed by Cha-cha Cañeta and she’s just as cute as Dora because of their matching hairstyles.
These bulilits may have grown up as teenagers already but these memorable and funny spoofs will forever make us laugh and will stay in our hearts.
