Vice Ganda welcomed Pinoy Big Brother Otso Batch 3 boys on Gandang Gabi Vice’s June 2 episode and had the chance to get to know them more.
First up was Mich Wunder, 17, who was born and raised for 13 years in Germany, but then returned to the Philippines and resided in Leyte. When asked if he could speak Bisaya, Mich replied, “Yes naman!” As soon as Vice heard his accent he urged Mich to teach him some German words. The host had a little one-on-one tutorial session with him, and learned how to say the words “You’re beautiful” and “Choose me” in German.
Next was a half-Filipino half-Japanese boy named Shoichi Oka, who is 19 years of age, and speaks fluent Japanese. He gave a sample Japanese sentence to Vice, and all the host could say was, “Ang taray. Parang Voltes 5 lang sila noh.”
The third housemate presented was Lance Carr, a good-looking star on the rise from Davao. Lance stressed that he just recently finished high school and plans to go to college. He also disclosed what he wanted to take up in college, “Engineering po, mechanical engineering.”
Vice then introduce 16-year-old Emjay Savilla from Camarines Sur and Jem Macatuno who is 19. The Unkabogable Star emphasized on how young Emjay looked and got a bit shocked when Emjay revealed that he chipped his tooth. And of course, the audience couldn’t help but laugh out loud at the sight of his tooth falling. As for Jem, Vice commented that he seemed as the smart one in the group, “Eto si Jem mukhang matalino. Mukhang magaling sa eskwelahan. Mukhang academically inclined”.
Audiences were in for a treat when Shoichi told Vice that he prepared a dance number, “May sorpesa ako para sa inyo.” He was accompanied by Mich and Lance, and the boys gave a dance performance of EXO‘s “Love Shot,” which didn’t fail to wow the crowd. On another note, Jem had a hidden talent too, that he was able to showcase during the show. Jem sang his own rendition of the song “Someday” by Nyoy Volante and Nina; and was then joined by Vice in a duet. They both got carried away with the song, and jammed as Jem played the acoustic version with his guitar. The GGV host was very impressed with Jem and his talent.
The PBB Otso Batch 3 boys were also able to show their acting skills, when they were made to play as brothers in a skit. Brenda was assigned as the mother of the boys, while Emjay played the role of her husband. The scene started off with Brenda washing some clothes, then her son Mich comes in asking for milk, and Lance asking for juice. The two guys then began speaking in their native tongue, therefore Brenda delivered her lines in Bisaya as well. When it came to English, the actors were indisputably having a hard time. Moments after, Shoichi came into the scene speaking in Japanese, followed by Jem talking in Kapampangan, and lastly Brenda’s make-believe husband Emjay who muttered his words in Bicolano. The presentation ended with all of them rattling on with their own languages and dialects, which left the audience, including Vice, laughing out loud because it turned out to be a comical act.
