In a past episode of Gandang Gabi Vice aired in 2014, Beauty Gonzalez, Bangs Garcia, and Meg Imperial went through a mix of topics starting off with their showbiz careers.
To begin, beauty looked back on her Pinoy Big Brother stint, which was her golden ticket to showbiz. She was batchmates with Robi Domingo and Ejay Falcon, who emerged as the Big Winner, and whom Vice Ganda loves to tease about his sexy-action roles.
Moving on, Meg revealed that she auditioned for Goin’ Bulilit’s first batch that includes Nash Aguas, Sharlene San Pedro, Julia Montes, Kristel Fulgar, and Kiray Celis. However, she didn’t make the cut due to her age, “Kasi 13 na ako n’un, pa-graduate na.
Meg still pursued showbiz and became more popular after bagging the lead role in the afternoon soap “Moon of Desire” where she played a character with hypertrichosis, a medical condition of having excessive hair growth all over the body.
Due to her character’s physical appearance, Meg was called names on social media. At first, she felt a little offended but her co-stars including leading man JC De Vera advised her to embrace the comments, which only meant the show’s being watched.
Vice then reacted, “Ang mahalaga, napag-usapan ‘yung show at ‘yung character.
