Gandang Gabi Vice continues to reign all over the country, which gives our Unkabogable Star more reasons to celebrate. The show marks its 8th year giving audiences a pleasant way to pass their Sunday evenings, through fun and laughter. In GGV’s anniversary episode, the benefit show “Walopet” continues to surprise and give viewers a treat with all out performances from special guests at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World Manila.
The June 23 episode started off with an astounding performance by KZ Tandingan, who sang her own version of the hit song “Doo Bee Doo” by the rock band Kamikazee. The Kapamilya singer looked cool in her pink outfit with her matching blue hairstyle with shades of light pink hues. Vice couldn’t help but laud KZ for her production number and for always being a constant performer in his show. KZ also thanked Vice for everything he has done for her. ““Ang laki ng tulong ni Ate Vice sa career ko. Totoo naman! Kasi ‘yung sa Diva’s concert, sabi ng management namin, nung unang nag-guest kaming divas sa Gandang Gabi Vice sobrang lumaki nung sales ng tickets namin,” she shared.
After her performance, the Asia’s Soul Supreme was made to do three Kalerki-Oke Challenges. First up was the “Try Not To Cry Challenge,” where KZ sang “Huwag Ka Nang Umiyak” while chopping onions. The singer stood in a booth along with Brenda Mage, Negi and Chad Kinis, who all ended up crying. KZ triumphed without shedding a tear.
For the second task called “Iduyan Mo Ako Challenge," KZ had to hang from the ceiling and be pushed back and forth by Vice, Negi, Brenda and Chad. While being swayed, she did her best in singing the song “Mahal Ko o Mahal Ako”, and tried not to get distracted by the four comedians. As expected, her song number was good enough to pass the second challenge.
Lastly, KZ had to roll inside a zorb ball while singing Adele’s hit song “Rolling In The Deep.” Despite being pushed around, KZ once again delivered a stellar performance, and was even able to impress audiences with her rap number. The 3rd challenge looked like so much fun that Vice, Brenda and Chad tried their luck as well. Up first was Brenda, who wasn’t able to sing a note because he was being tossed around so vigorously. Second was Chad, who felt as dizzy as ever, and in the end his toupee fell of completely. Of course, everyone cheered on for Vice to give it a go, but his turn didn’t last long because he fell out of the zorb. “Isinuka ako ng Zorb. Ayaw sa akin nung zorb!” he said laughing.
