Gandang Gabi Vice has had seven laughter-filled years and they’re gearing up for at least seven more. So, for the late-night talk show’s special birthday, the Phenomenal Superstar decided to take the fun beyond their studio and out to the streets. To make the drive even more exciting, Vice Ganda invited best friend and soul sister Anne Curtis to tag along.
The actress was in for a pleasant shock when they had a quick but juicy interview inside the car. They shared stories about fooling around in the little compact space. Of course, a drive wouldn’t be complete without some karaoke. They decided to belt out to Beyonce’s “Halo”.
They didn’t stay inside the car for long though. Eventually, the two played a game of dares from meeting all sort of people to busting out the moves in public. Vice asked for a random guy’s phone number without trouble and took a selfie with a jeepney driver. At one point they danced to “Bhoom Bhoom” in the middle of traffic and gave a performance of a lifetime. The best part was that the netizens were all game.
After an exhausting day, they were in need of some snacks and chanced on some street food. They stopped by to try some kwek-kwek, then spotted some balut. Anne had never tried balut in her life, but Vice got her to give the local delicacy a try. The vendor had one of the most interesting names you would hear, Purontong. And because the Unkaboggable Star genuinely enjoyed the humble moment, she decided to buy all of the balut. “Para matulog ka nang maaga,” said the comedian to Mr. Purontong.
Without a doubt, they had a blast chatting with each other. The besties probably forgot they were on camera because of how fun their drive was.
