Throughout its nine-year successful run, Gandang Gabi Vice had never failed to bring good vibes and laughter to the viewers as its gregarious host, Vice Ganda, tried to get to know her celebrity guests more through their fun-filled, and sometimes heartwarming, conversations.
But aside from simply speaking with them, GGV found another way to spice up and further stimulate the interviews – by making the guests take on the popular game “Sagot o Lagot.” And in this episode, let’s look back on how the six celebrities in this GGV Toplist feature bravely took on the punishments given to them.
In this game, as we all know, the players had the option to either answer (or sagot) the question being asked of them or to take on the punishment (or lagot) once they refused to do the former.
Commencing this list is Ruffa Gutierrez, who was tasked with pranking her mom, Annabelle Rama, by calling her and telling her, “Ma, I have a problem. I think he’s cheating on me.” This was after she failed to mention the initials of the name of an artista that she totally dislikes.
Funnily enough, Annabelle fell for it and even uttered the first name of Ruffa’s then-boyfriend as she berated her, much to the amusement of everyone. She ‘cursed’ Ruffa once more when she revealed that it was only a prank and she was on GGV.
In light of the promotions for their then-upcoming teleserye, A Soldier’s Heart, Nash Aguas and Jerome Ponce appeared on the late-night talk show. Since he has been loyal to his now-wife, Mika dela Cruz, Nash had a difficult time answering what form of cheating he had done to her. Although he imparted that there were instances when he zoomed into the photos of her celebrity crush Selena Gomez on Instagram, Vice wasn’t satisfied by it and asked him to do the challenge of texting her, “I THINK IT’S OVER.”
The Goin’ Bulilit alumnus got really anxious as they waited for her reply, only to receive hilarious messages from Mika, who apparently assumed that her beloved boyfriend was referring to the Taal Volcano eruption.
She may have used to be a popular sexy actress in her younger years, Ina Raymundo confessed that she never had a one-night stand. However, it seemed that she got into a few romantic affairs with celebrity guys, whom she refused to name. Thus, she chose “lagot” and did the consequence of reenacting a scene from Kadenang Ginto along with comedians Petite and Negi. It was supposed to be a serious and intense scene, but it turned out to be comedic.
Since she wasn’t able to supply an answer when asked by Vice if she ever had a terrible body odor experience with a celebrity colleague, Arci Muñoz was compelled to pick “lagot” and take on the dare of eating fried worms. The Unkabogable host supported her by also having a taste of the exotic dish.
As both of them weren’t able to supply any answer to the Unkabogable Star’s questions regarding the GirlTrends members to whom they had a fling and the It’s Showtime host who they don’t like the most, Hashtags members Kid Yambao and McCoy de Leon were obliged to pull down their pants and dance to Sarah Geronimo’s viral hit “Tala.”
Last was Donny Pangilinan, who had the body hairs on his left leg waxed after he refused to answer Vice’s question with regard to the celebrity whose pictures he tends to zoom in on every time he looks at her sexy posts.
Whose “lagot” consequence amused you the most, Kapamilya?
