In the past nine years, Gandang Gabi Vice has indeed succeeded in capping off our weekends in a really good note through the entertainment and good vibes relentlessly provided to the viewers, not only by its talented and gregarious host Vice Ganda, but by the hundreds of guests that graced the show.
Through the years, we were surely delighted by the presences of celebrities and non-celebrities who appeared on the comedy talk show to promote their latest television and movie projects, to be featured after becoming viral on social media, or after being invited to come over.
However, it’s the guestings of some Kapamilya loveteams that we arguably enjoyed the most for they did not only made us laugh with their banters with the Unkabogable Star, but they also made us all kilig with their unmistakable chemistry, noticeable gestures, and mind-blowing revelations.
Premier pairs KathNiel (Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla) and LizQuen (Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil), indeed never failed to set the butterflies in our stomachs in their respective appearances.
The same with on-screen sweethearts MayWard (Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber), and KierVi (CK Keiron and Vivoree Esclito), as well as real-life couple LoiNie (Loisa Andalio and Ronnie Alonte), who made us admire them even more with how they gamely responded to the sizzling yet hilarious questions of Vice and accepted the challenges prepared for them.
Meanwhile, watching again the episodes of GGV wherein former reel-to-real flames JoshLia (Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto), McLisse (McCoy de Leon and Elisse Joson), and JaDine (James Reid and Nadine Lustre) made their appearances truly make us miss them so much, with some of us even wishing that there will be a second chance for them.
Prior to the unfortunate falling apart of their tandems, former loveteams NLex (Nash Aguas and Alexa Ilacad), JaiLene (Jairus Aquino and Sharlene San Pedro), JuanBie (JM de Guzman and Barbie Imperial), MarNella (Marlo Mortel and Janella Salvador), DonKiss (Donny Pangilinan and Kisses Delavin), and MarNigo (Maris Racal and Iñigo Pascual), once thrilled us with their unforgettable and fun stints on the weekly program.
They might be the freshest and youngest tandems in this roster, but The Gold Squad, comprised of SethDrea (Seth Fedelin and Andrea Brillantes) and KyCine (Kyle Echarri and Francine Diaz), but they’re able to keep pace to their ates and kuyas when it comes to providing kilig to the viewers of GGV.
As Gandang Gabi Vice signs off, we’ll surely miss the fun and entertainment it relentlessly brought. But we should not be totally sad about it because Everybody Sing! will be equally-enjoying for sure.
