She first gained popularity after her rendition of “Let It Go” went viral online. And after her attempt to be the first ever Miss Q & A grand winner, her name only continued to spread like wildfire.
If you’ve ever been to Elsa Droga’s Facebook account in the hopes of getting to know more about the kontesera, you might have noticed one person who often appears in her photos. Whether they’re standing on the beach, hanging out at home or waiting backstage of It’s Showtime’s studio, Elsa’s boyfriend is there to give his full support.
“I believe siya po ay maasikaso. Pangalawa, I believe very supportive. And I believe, mahal na mahal niya ko,” the Miss Q & A finalist introduced him on Gandang Gabi Vice.
Their term of endearment for each other is “bal” which is “lab” backwards and on Friday, July 13, it would already be a year since they officially became a couple.
Elsa retold the story of how they met online and admitted to sending the first message. Charles then confessed that he seen-zoned her and only decided to respond after seeing Elsa on the noontime show’s pageant.
“Mahal mo ba talaga siya o pamamaraan ‘to ng pagrerebelde sa magulang?” Vice Ganda jokingly asked. To which Charles seriously answered, “Opo, mahal ko siya”.
