Nothing else could keep the Madlang People from holding their excitement than their anticipation for the looming return of Anne Curtis to the It’s Showtime family.
In this interview with King of Talk Boy Abunda on the Kumu show The Best Talk, Anne assured the Madlang People that her comeback on the noontime show would come soon.
“Malapit na,” Anne said but stressed she was just being very cautious in planning her return given the treat of the ongoing pandemic.
Anne revealed that she was set to rejoin the It’s Showtime family earlier, but the surge in COVID-19 cases pushed back that monumental reunion.
“I’m just being very cautious din kasi minsan akala ko nga babalik na ako tapos biglang aakyat ang mga cases, na pra-praning na ako.”
She said her biggest consideration is the health and safety of her daughter Dahlia Amelie. “Dahlia is quite young pa, I’m just being very cautious muna but soon. As in babalik ako for sure ‘yun. Babalik talaga ako for sure ‘yun,” Anne declared.
Anne also expressed hope that next year would be a safer year for work so that she could fully resume her passion for hosting and acting.
She said she may appear in a film or teleserye next year, adding that watching K-dramas, teleseryes and Spanish telenovelas at home makes her miss doing her beloved craft a lot.
