In light of the showing of their first-ever big screen project together “Hello Stranger: The Movie,” one of this generation’s hottest on-screen pair and bankable heartthrobs JC Alcantara and Tony Labrusca appeared in a recent episode of FYE Channel’s “Pop Cinema” for an interview.
Unfortunately, Tony wasn’t able to stay on the line due to intermittent connection, so it was only JC and their co-actors Gillian Vicencio and Jae Miranda who were only able to continue in their chat with hosts MJ Felipe and Bianca Gonzalez-Intal.
In this clip, Gillian and Jae were asked if they think JC could muster the courage to come up to Thai superstars Bright (or Vachirawit Chiva-aree) and Win (or Opas-iamkajorn), or collectively known as “BrightWin”. Both of them agreed that he could do it, with Gillian recalling that he saw a tweet or comment of him on social media directed to them, while Jae revealed that JC actually watched the highly-popular “2gether: The Series.”
Host MJ also agreed, saying that the 21-year-old actor could even ask for a photo with the two and brag it to his loveteam partner Tony.
“Yes. Sobrang fan nila akong dalawa, of course si Bright. Kasi lahat ng post ni Bright ginagaya na. Sobrang fan talaga ako, the way mag-outfit siya. Minsan ‘yong outfit niya binibili ko na from top to pants and shoes. ‘Di ko alam. Kasi may gano’n din ako na gusto kong gayahin ‘yong tao, gagawin ko. Sobrang fan ako ni Bright and si Win kay Tony,” JC confessed, which surprised everyone.
Then he jestingly added, “Pero kung magkikita kami, magpapa-picture muna ako kay Win tapos ipo-post ko para ma-ano si Tony.”
Prior to “Hello Stranger: The Movie,” JC and Tony first starred in the hit web series of the same title produced and released by Black Sheep Productions on its official YouTube and Facebook accounts. Both are directed by award-winning director Petersen Vargas and can be streamed on iWantTFC.
