As they are currently promoting their debut single “Born To Win”, fast-rising girl group BINI graced the latest episode of FYE Channel’s Metro Chats. Aside from talking about their music and blossoming career in the local entertainment scene, the girls also willingly talked about their random things about themselves.
And in this clip, the eight talented and gorgeous ladies enthusiastically revealed some fun facts about them that their “Blooms”, or what they fondly call their beloved fans, probably did not know or have not heard yet.
First off was Joana, who imparted that her nickname is “Tintin”, which is from her second name “Christine”. But her fellow members was seemingly not satisfied with it, so he was compelled to give another response, which is having Robi Domingo as her celebrity crush and ultimate idol in hosting.
Next was Aya, who disclosed that her wardrobe, which used to be only filled with black and white clothes, has instantly turned colorful upon being a BINI.
Collette, on the other hand, confessed that her vertigo kicks in every time she’s surrounded with many flashing bright lights. This is something really surprising to us since she and the whole squad has never failed to deliver impeccable and energetic performances in their every television and online appearances.
Maloi then zealously imparted that she has Japanese blood from the maternal side of their family and even gave a sample of her Japanese-speaking skills.
Since she was born around the time when the iconic Taiwanese drama Meteor Garden was a big hit in the Philippines, Gwen laughingly disclosed that her parents actually almost named her after its female protagonist Shan Cai (played by Barbie Hsu). Besides, the short hair with bangs that she currently sports is actually her original hairdo when she was still a kid, since her mom had always wanted her to look that way.
As girly as she may seem, Stacey revealed that her favorite snack is actually cornick with vinegar and she could also munch chili. The same goes for Mika, who recalled how often she did it in her younger years and shared how her BINI co-members love to call her “Miks”.
Last, but definitely not the least, was Sheena, who dropped a fun fact that even her groupmates didn’t know yet. While everybody calls her by that name, she divulged having a second name at school, which is “Franchesca”.
